]]> http://newlifebaptist.org/?feed=rss2&p=117 0 Help Break the Chains of Addiction http://newlifebaptist.org/?p=115 http://newlifebaptist.org/?p=115#comments Tue, 07 Feb 2012 21:51:00 +0000 Pastor Werry http://newlifebaptist.org/?p=115 Everyone knows at least one.  Someone who is struggling with drugs and alcohol.  Everyone of us knows at least one family that has been hit with the devastation caused by drugs and alcohol.  One of our most important ministries at New Life is the work we do with recovering addicts and their families.  We have [...]]]> Everyone knows at least one.  Someone who is struggling with drugs and alcohol.  Everyone of us knows at least one family that has been hit with the devastation caused by drugs and alcohol.  One of our most important ministries at New Life is the work we do with recovering addicts and their families.  We have support group meetings twice a week.  On Tuesdays, we host a 12 Step meeting to help addicts deal with their specific addiction problems.   On Thursdays, we offer a “Life Skills” Class which deals with topics like anger, relationships, responsibility and many more.

If you are in need of the loving support of others as you deal with your own addiction issues, give us a call and we can help you get into one or both of our classes.   And if you know of a family in need of support as they deal with someone who is active in addiction, point them toward New Life as well.   The power of Jesus Christ can and does make real changes in our lives.   New Life is here to help.
